Approximately one half of those persons are classified as OBESE. The statistics seem to get worse every year. Weight problems are not always caused by a loss of will power, or lack of exercise. They cannot always be solved by starvation diets. With Fat Busters you get one on one counseling, support and encouragement. What is obesity?
The CDC states that it exists when one’s weight is 30% or more over the accepted standard for his height. Morbid obesity is when the weight is 50-100% over the accepted normal.
Should I take obesity seriously?
Obese people have a 50-100% increased risk of death from all causes compared to people of normal weight.
BMI up to 24 is normal. 25-29 is considered overweight and 30 and over is OBESE.
Women with a waist measurement of 35 and over and men with a waist measurement of 40and over are at increased risk of obesity related problems such as diabetes, hypertension and heart disease.
